The Federal Government plays a part in California water allocation and use through a variety of projects and laws. What, if any, new programs or projects or reforms to existing programs and projects would you support in an effort to handle water shortages caused by the current and any future drought?
Answer from Paul Jones:
We have one of the oldest water systems in the U.S. at approx. 50 years old, we have yet to actually secure run off when it rains, it now flows to the Ocean, we have the technology to change this habit, small cities such as Lakewood CA. now have built underground rain water storage system, these types of projects would bring independence to California from buying of water from outside California, and keep more tax payer funds here. the overall savings would outway the cost of building these systems.
Should immigration laws be changed? What changes would you support? Please explain why.
Answer from Paul Jones:
We have had immigration problems since Clinton Administration, we must First and formost secure our Border, bring back the asylum seeker regulations based based on fear of death or as political prison, we have in a sense shot ourseves in the foot with the current open border by the current administration, all people need to have freedom, but it must start here on American soil Political asylum is just that, not because America has more so let me break their laws. I am 100% for legal immigratiion but 100% illegal immigration.
As Congress Member what, if any, policies or legislation would you support to preserve democracy for all US residents?
Answer from Paul Jones:
I support We the People, I have served to protect our freedom and I am asking to do so again. I would support and preserve democracy for all Americans, even at the cost of my own life
What legislation, if any, would you support to reduce American greenhouse gas production? Please explain the reasons for your position.
Answer from Paul Jones:
Cleaner burning fossil fuels, we are far from being ready for the supposed Green New Deal as there isn't even a practial infastructor, nor an public education to understand the non-recyclable companets of solar panels and wind turbines, as of 2022 the united states has the cleanest air quality in the world, the green new deal with not have any effect based on the solar and wind turbine effects. America cannot control China, India etc. as the biggest polllters in the world, we can invent ways to burn cleaner with fossil fuels including exporting cleaner fuel to other countries.

Having been raised poor, I have personal experience on how to help with poverty, I have lived in my car, then on the streets giving me that experience 99% of candidates do not have to solve the homeless problem without spending billions of taxpayer money. As a 22 month Vietnam Marine Combat veteren gives an understanding of helping other Veterens, including PTSD and Suicide problems as a Suicide Survivor, unlike most in the peoples house I have practical on hands experience with life, with this I believe I am better equipped to understand and solve our problems.
