A resident of San Luis Obispo County since 1995, Adam Hill taught literature and writing at Cal Poly for 13 years before being elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2008.
Taking office during the worst recession in recent history, Adam helped lead the County's recovery. Working with staff, Adam made sure there were no job cuts and that County resources were managed wisely. As a result, today SLO County has the best bond rating in its history and ranks 5th out of 58 California counties for financial strength.
Adam leads the way in protecting our SLO way of life. From the Bob Jones trail to the Pismo Preserve, no one has done more to promote open spaces and trails.
