Stacy Korsgaden is a successful business owner, community leader, and Cal Poly alumni running for San Luis Obispo County Supervisor. As a local insurance agent serving the San Luis Obispo County community for over 30 years, Stacy helps businesses, individuals and families feel safe and secure in some of their biggest investments - no matter what curveballs life throws at them.
Stacy’s business is recognized as one of the most successful insurance agencies in the country and was named a Top 7 agency by Farmers Insurance® this year. Stacy has been named to the President’s Council 13 times, an honor given to the top one percent of Farmers Insurance® agents and district managers.
Stacy is passionate about giving back to her local community and holds a distinguished record of service in both her professional and charitable endeavors. Stacy currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors at the Boys and Girls Club of South San Luis Obispo County, where she has oversight responsibility of educational and recreational programs that serve over 700 local youth, especially those youth who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. She also aids local business development and advocacy efforts through her service as the Chairperson of the South County Chambers of Commerce.
Stacy has demonstrated that she has the real-world experience and common sense that is needed in local government and is someone who will take initiative, put politics aside and serve her community without being interested in self-promotion. She has a crystal-clear perspective on what it means to serve as an elected official and represent the residents of District 3 with the highest-level integrity and civility.
Stacy is passionate about maintaining San Luis Obispo County’s vibrant economy and one of a kind natural beauty. She believes in a balanced approach to local government that will preserve the economic strength of the region, as well as improve the quality of life for San Luis Obispo County residents. Stacy looks forward to the opportunity to represent the county’s 3rd District on the Board of Supervisors.
San Luis Obispo County has been Stacy’s home for over 30 years. Stacy holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a Professional Certificate in Professional Financial Planning from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Stacy and her spouse Jodi currently live in Grover Beach.
