Biography
I am a retired school teacher. I taught elementary grades 1 through 5 and was my school’s union representative I have always felt that it is important to live a life of service to my community. Since my retirement and moving to the Bay Area, I have become involved in a number of local charities and mentorship programs. I am active in the Rio Vista Democratic Club, serving as Chair for the last 2 years, and Club representative in the Solano County Central Committee. Last year I was honored to received the Committee’s “Rising Star Award.”
I am a fervent advocate of our Party’s philosophy of social and economic equality. Our strength is as strong as our human network, a network that doesn’t let our fellow brothers and sisters “fall through the cracks.” I believe that we, as a people, are strong when we look out for one another and this planet we call home. Our focus and priorities should reflect that.
