My Top 3 Priorities

  • My passion for ensuring a strong foundation for every child has always driven my focus. I’ve been actively engaged in opening the First 5 Center in Vallejo.
  • Highway 37 is critical to our economic survival and the current situation is no sustainable. We are pursuing short and long term options that can meet our traffic needs, regional environmental sensitivity, and sea-level rise.
  • I will continue to partner with the Florence Douglas Center and the “Walking for Health” grant to give walking shoes to Vallejo seniors. Senior health, housing and independence remain top priorities for me.

My grandparents lived on Maine Street in Downtown Vallejo, and worked on Mare Island. Serving on your behalf has always been deeply personal—as both a City Council member and now your County Supervisor.  My goal has always been to connect the needs of Vallejoans with the County services they deserve. Today, as I partner alongside our neighbors; including families, workers and community leaders I’m continually motivated and inspired by the families I help.

I’ve strived to measure every decision by how it will impact our families—from the very youngest members, to our seniors. My priorities remain improving neighborhood safety, creating and strengthening equitable pathways out of poverty, and building the strong foundations necessary to support our families and neighborhoods into the future.  I am working hard to bring new sources of investment funding into our community.

I am committed to improving Highway 37; providing effective solutions for homelessness; addressing early childhood development and family support; creating opportunities that foster independent, safe, healthy living solutions for seniors.

I’m proud of my deep Solano roots and inspired by what’s ahead. Together, we are creating a strong, thriving future. I hope I can count on your vote—Thank you.
