I believe California is already doing its part, and at the state level there's not a whole lot more we can do.

Obviously the climate changes regardless of the human impact and I think that it's time we as a people prepare for the inevitability of climate disasters far greater than we've ever experienced before.

Home ownership is a goal that I think every Red Blooded American can agree on!

It's the American way of life, it's the American dream, and although some people aren't good at managing their own finances or have less than perfect credit history, it should still be an option, even if that means that we have to reinvent the concept.

I'm a big fan of the Northern European Penal System, in that there are very low recidivism rates and the focus is on building up the person in small group setting, as opposed to punishing the person (which leads to reinforcement of otherwise already damage social expectations).

As a Jewish American, I am very intimately aware of the amazing progress that Israel has had in solving their water crisis.

I say it's time we take a leaf from their book, and use our expansive ocean access to build Desalinization plants, providing fresh clean potable water to the entire state.  Then selling any excesses beyond reasonable reserves, to the highest bidder.
