In 1983, I moved with my family to Mokelumne Hill. I have had the privilege of growing up in this beautiful rural Calaveras County and am now raising my children here. This has motivated me to become involved publicly to help preserve a viable healthy future for Calaveras. Working in the Building Trades for over a decade, I made a Career change in 2009 and went back to school to become a Wastewater Treatment Operator. Calaveras has an abundance of natural resources in water rights and I believe we must work to retain these rights. In 2016, I worked diligently on the Planning Commission to finish the draft for the “General Plan”. A finalized General Plan is pertinent for a sustainable economic future. I will work with the employees of the county to find solutions and help expedite public services. I will work to bring our aging infrastructure up to date for example; our rapidly filling landfill. I will work to hold Government accountable to render services the constituents of Calaveras voted for and deserve. Vote for Benjamin Stopper.
