Mis 3 prioridades principales
- Public safety/quality of life; I support expanded law enforcement and firefighters, and enhanced outreach to improve transition from homeless to employment and tax paying members of our community.
- Revitalizing Redding; Local businesses are the backbone of our economy. Support for development is needed to expand our local economy which includes the December 2017 reduction of impact fees by 17%.
- Investing in our youth; It has never mattered more that we invest in our city’s youth to invest in our city’s future businesses, economy and leadership.

Biografía
I am an “average Joe” I don’t have years of political experience, or committees, or money. I was raised in Casper Wyoming and moved to Redding in 2010. When I moved to Redding I met the most amazing person in the world, married her, and then went back to school to get a masters degree in preparation to provide for my new family. About a year after I graduate I found myself teaching government, economics, and life skills out at Shasta College. I teach in a special program meant to give "at risk" youth a second chance. The program was started by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and is one of the highest rated in the country. I know how to work as a team with others to bring real and lasting change to members of our community.
While I don't have vast political experience what I do have is a lot of first hand experience with the issue we are facing and a family I care enough about to do whatever it takes to find solutions. As a loving husband and a father of three young children I am not willing to sit around and wish for things to get better. I am a person who has drive and passion to take action, take risks, and see things change!

While there are many issues we face I believe it comes down to three critical issues we must address before we can see the change we want as a community.
Our first critical issue is crime. Redding has a system that does not confront and correct behaviors that are destructive to the individual and to the community. Our second issue is stagnant economic growth. Redding is not taking full advantage of our assets in bringing new business to our area and helping the businesses already here thrive. Our third issue is some citizens don’t believe Redding deserves something better. Redding deserves the best and we should be willing to fight for what we want until the entire country knows we are one of the best places on earth to live!
If elected I will be aggressive in taking on each of these issues, finding solutions, and finding others that are willing to work as hard as I am to make Redding into the city we want and deserve. It is time to stop making excuses, it is time to come together and find solutions that is not just my political philosophy that is my passion!
Mis 3 prioridades principales
- Public Safety. Crime and the problems created by substance abuse and mental health must be addressed by finding additional resources for police and coordinated programs. Firefighters are understaffed and, more than ever, deserve our support..
- Quality of life is paramount to attracting new business. Parks and trails are critical for a healthy city and should be accessible to all residents.
- Determining what is important and how we pay for it is our overwhelming challenge. Our values will be determined by our choices as a community.
