I am an “average Joe” I don’t have years of political experience, or committees, or money. I was raised in Casper Wyoming and moved to Redding in 2010. When I moved to Redding I met the most amazing person in the world, married her, and then went back to school to get a masters degree in preparation to provide for my new family. About a year after I graduate I found myself teaching government, economics, and life skills out at Shasta College. I teach in a special program meant to give "at risk" youth a second chance. The program was started by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and is one of the highest rated in the country. I know how to work as a team with others to bring real and lasting change to members of our community.
While I don't have vast political experience what I do have is a lot of first hand experience with the issue we are facing and a family I care enough about to do whatever it takes to find solutions. As a loving husband and a father of three young children I am not willing to sit around and wish for things to get better. I am a person who has drive and passion to take action, take risks, and see things change!
