Darren Parker is a long time Public Servant, visionary small business owner, and committed Father & Grandfather. He currently serves as a Special Assistant to California State Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon. Darren and his wife have been married for 32 years and have 5 daughters and 5 granddaughters. He serves as a deacon at Livingstone Cathedral of Worship Church.

Darren Parker is the Chairman of the California Democratic Party’s African American Caucus and serves as the Los Angeles County Democratic Party Region 1 Secretary. He has also served on the Eastside School District Advisory Council, Antelope Valley Union High School District Advisory Council, Palmdale School District African American Advisory Council and is an AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination) Community Liaison. Darren has raised funds to support safe schools, teen summits and "Increase the Peace Day" events. Additionally, Darren Parker served on the Quartz Hill Town Council, the Antelope Valley Human Relations Commission, the City of Lancaster’s Architectural Committee, the Antelope Valley College District Citizens Oversight Committee, the Antelope Valley Youth Build Advisory Board, and the Board of the Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber Commerce. He was appointed by both Governor Gray Davis and Governor Jerry Brown to serve on the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds Board.

Dr. Ollie McCaulley is a resident of Palmdale, California, together with his wife, Aurora Gonzales-McCaulley, and his three children, Susanna, Jade, and Ollie Robert. Dr. McCaulley was born in Huntsville, Alabama, the oldest of five children. His father, a prominent labor leader and respected figure in his community, ingrained in Ollie the importance of self-discipline, hard work and responsibility.  At the age of seven, when most children are engaged in recreational pursuits, Ollie was earning money for the family providing ice water to field hands. 

When he grew older, his sense of duty moved him to serve in the United States Marine Corps, where he was decorated for his meritorious service during the Vietnam Era. After his discharge, he attended Alabama A&M University where he studied Business and Political Science. Dr. McCaulley holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Indiana University, and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas Law School's International Tax Program, with an LL.M (Masters of Law) in International Taxation and a Certification in E-Commerce Law. Dr. McCaulley received his Ed.D (Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership) from the University of Phoenix.

Dr. McCaulley has served as a police officer in the City of South Gate, and has worked in numerous senior management positions in the Los Angeles area. Ollie has also served as a Director of Housing and a Government Relations Director in Los Angeles-based projects that created and implemented programs to provide affordable housing and other benefits to low income and disadvantaged people. Ollie holds a General Contractor Builder License. Dr. McCaulley’s civic activities have included serving as the Chair of the California Juvenile Justice Task Force, and as a Commissioner of the Los Angeles County Health Facilities Authority. 

Since 2002, Dr. McCaulley has been the President of the Gonzales-McCaulley Investment Group, Inc. (GMIG), a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, founded to provide Government contracting training. GMIG currently teaches dozens of different courses covering the Government competency requirements for federal contracting professionals. GMIG has experienced and knowledgeable instructors across the United States who have taught classes for over 15,000 students in the United States, Africa, and Asia.
