Expand the Los Vaqueros Reservoir in eastern Contra Costa County (Located in State Senate District 7). I support this project 100 %. It has great benifits to the states water shortage problems and has minimal effects on the enviroment.
We should insist on complete tansparency regarding the funding of campaings. We should work to elimante outside spending committes ( PACs) or at least shine a bright light on their activities.
No, I do not support increasing the minium wage. The government should not impose wage hikes on the free market. As wages are forced to be increased , businesses will hire less people and rely more on automation. Increasing the minimum wage also increases the cost of goods and services which increases everyone's cost of living.
1. Schools, Elementary through State Univerities. Our education system is our best investment in our future.
2. Roads , Highways and Bridges, must be made safe and ready for the future growth of our state.
3. Water storage and securing the Delta levees. Expanding Los Vaqueros Reservoir.
Repeal of the Renewable Energy Mandates, that mandate some percent of the state's electricty be generated from renewable sourecs . Since most renewable energy sources are not at this time cost effective, the result is higher prices for consumers. Overall the state should strive to reduce regulation and promote competition.
Encouraging, approving and planning for the establishment of more "Satellite Offices" both for employers and service providers like doctors, dentists, lawyers and accountants.
When employers and service providers are closer to where people live, then people can make use of other forms of transportation, like GEM vehicles (small electric vehicles), electric scooters (i.e. GenZe scooter) and bicylces.

Biography
My name is Tyson “Guy” Moore, and I have lived in this community for 35 years. My wife Kathy and I feel proud to have had the opportunity to raise our family here in such a great part of the East Bay.
After graduating from the University of Washington in 1981 where I majored in Business Administration, I moved to Walnut Creek with my wife and we started our family. I was working for Charles Schwab, became a listed stock broker, and was promoted to Vice President by the time I was 30.
When our first child, Rebecca, was born in 1986, I chose to Leave Schwab to start a residential real estate business in Walnut Creek that was one of the first companies to pioneer the idea of lower commissions to benefit homeowners. Later, as we were raising our three children, I discovered what mattered most to me is family and being active in our community. I followed my inspiration and made the decision to become an educator.
In 1996, I completed my teaching credential at St. Mary’s College and worked in the classroom and in education leadership roles for the next 20 years. My most significant contribution is my ability to bring together opposing groups to collaborate in transforming the Mt. Diablo Unified School District into a great place for our children to learn.
I will rely on my life experiences to represent everyone in Senate District 7 to craft solutions to continue to make this a great place to live, work and raise our families.
