Biography
I am an attorney practicing Criminal Defense and Juvenile Dependency Law.I have spent over 40 years fighting to enforce Constitution Rights in a Court of Law, primarily in Stanislaus County. I was raised by a career Navy Officer and a mother who grew up in El Paso Texas with immigrant parents. As a garment worker my Mother met my father as a sailor at a USO dance. My Father served in both World War II and Korean War. My parents instilled in me a sense of duty to county and community. I served during the Vietnam War as an Air Force officer. After serving in the Air Force, I went to Law School on the GI Bill.
I believe in the rule of law and the accountability of government to the Constitution. I have worked with Cesar Chavez to enforce the rights of employees against unfair labor practices. I raised my son as a single parent and believe in the need for safe and secure schools, with resources to help single working parents with day care and after school activities.
We need a more involved and active assemblyman representing District 12. Someone who can work to get things done for the District. I will appreciate your support.
