My Top 3 Priorities
As your Assemblymember I am committed to protecting our coast. That’s why I introduced legislation to stop Trump's offshore oil drilling plans off our coast. I also wrote the law ensuring oil spill management teams are properly trained and prepared.
As a former School Board Member and educator of 14 years, I am committed to improving our schools. I helped secure $7.5 million to address student hunger which earned me the California State Student Association 2017 Legislator of the Year.
Preparing students for jobs of the future and providing workforce training is a priority. I am proud to have expanded internet access to underserved and rural communities, helping foster economic growth and will continue fighting for local jobs.
