My Top 3 Priorities

  • Make the Federal Reserve submit to a full annual audit, explain what banks they are printing money for to bail out and the rationale for their interest setting actions
  • Insure the integrity of our voting systems--not just at the voter level,by having ballots that will not confuse voters, but at the counting ,tabulation and compilation of vote level
  • Create a pay back schedule for monies the US Treasury and or Congress have taken out of the Social Security funds

I am an attorney that got the biggest civil rights award in 2018 for a father whose son was shot and killed by a County Deputy, helped push Hesperia city, the Town of Apple Valley ,Snowline School District, Apple Valley School District, Hesoeria School District into adopting a fairer at large voting system under the California Coting Rights Act, helped the community fight against  Nursery Products waste disposal & the US Ecoilogy attempt to turn the Desert along the California-Arizona burder into a nuclear waste dump. I am active and successful through the community partners I work with in getting change. I have saved numerous businesses harassed by the County & State against regulatory overreaching. I have done things and can do more if I get your vote.

Questions & Answers

Questions from League of Women Voters of California (3)

What financing method(s) would you support to repair or improve roads, rails, ports, airports, the electrical grid, and other infrastructure in the U.S.?
Answer from Bob Conaway:

Too broad of a question. Some thoughts: Electrical grids should be funded by the power companies who profit from the collection, distribution & sale of power. Federal highways were originally conceived as a part of the defense planning and should still be funded (and not spent building roads in Iraq & Afghanistan). Developers & local cities or counties who want highway offramps not part of the defense plan should pay for them. Rails are already paid for by the users. Ports are part of homeland securities pervue. Money colelcted by the government through fuel taxes, ballot initiatives and tolls should be used to work on the local roads.

What programs or legislation, if any, would you support to help Americans of all ages to secure affordable health care?
Answer from Bob Conaway:

Affordable is an insurance carrier bias term; health care should be a right; how to best do that will require a mindset of committing to providing needed preventive and interventional care first and then finding the best way to fund it

Describe an immigration policy that you would support if presented to the House of Representatives.
Answer from Bob Conaway:

There needs to be a comprehensive reform bill that gives a pathway to citizenship, that recognizes there are political persecution exemptions, one that gives due process to foreign nationals facing deportation, human detention facilities and policies that are compassionate & safe
