My name is Jeffi Girgenti. I am currently running for California State Assembly 45th District.
I am a California native born in the San Fernando Valley where I still reside. My father was a Detective Sargent for the San Fernando Police Department.
I was extremely fortunate to know my career path at 13, to be a manicurist. While in high School I was able to attend West Valley Occupational school in Woodland Hills, where I currently reside, receiving my manicuring education. I was able to take my State Board exam at 17. I have been doing nails ever since, over 41 years.
I opened my first Salon in Encino July, 1997. I later closed moving my business to Woodland Hills in 2011, where I currently work.
In 2003 I started my second company beating Kimberly Clark, owner of Huggies Diapers, for 2 Trademarks. I am the only other company holding Trademarks with the "Huggies" name. This was a tough accomplishment, but I am a fighter! I do not believe one company can own a word all to themselves. I worked tirelessly to win both my Trademarks.
I mention this because, this is what it will take to turn California around. Today's Assembly is NOT hearing their Constituents Voices.
