Questions from League of Women Voters of California (3)
Infrastructure Question
What financing method(s) would you support to repair or improve roads, rails, ports, airports, the electrical grid, and other infrastructure in the U.S.?
No answer provided.
What programs or legislation, if any, would you support to help Americans of all ages to secure affordable health care?
Answer from Ronda Baldwin-Kennedy:
As a mother of 6, I understand the importance of access to health care. Unfortunately, health care insurance costs can be the most expensive item in a family’s budget. Government bureaucracy is not the answer. We fix health care by giving people choice on coverage, allowing health insurance to be purchased across state lines, cutting pharmaceutical costs, stopping the manufacturing of drugs overseas, requiring that people with pre-existing conditions be able to obtain coverage, and creating transparency in pricing.
Immigration Policy Question
Describe an immigration policy that you would support if presented to the House of Representatives.
