I am originally from Wisconsin. My Great Great Grand Father was a slave that escaped to the North and fought for the Union Army. My Great Grand Father was the first African-American to be elected to the Wisconsin State Legislature. I believe in hard work and responsibility because it was handed down from my family. I started out as a building inspector, then a paralegal, and then finally an attorney all while raising a family. Without hard work and personal responsibility, I could not have done it. Am I proud to be an American? Absolutely! The blood of my ancestors is in the soil, and therefore I own it, just like all Americans. I am a practicing criminal/civil litigator. I recently defended our 2nd amendment rights when I fought to get our gun stores back open. I am a strong believer in the Constitution, and I will continue to defend our rights. I am also the former Dean of a California Law School. I live in Oak Park with my husband and best friend Michael, and our three nine-year-old triplets Annabel, Bianca, and Liam.

We need to reverse the legislation created to save the Delta Smelt in California. There is no proof that the legislation has worked at all that allows half our water to drain into the ocean. We need projects to conserve and keep for rain water and invest more into desalinization plants to turn salt water into drinking water.
We need to fix our immigration system by first securing the boarder. After we secure the boarder, we can start talking about updating current immigration laws, but we first need to know who is coming into the country.
I would support Voter IDs for all US Citizens. You need an ID to board a flight, drive a car, buy an alcoholic beverage, stay at a hotel, and some places even required everyone to have a vaccine ID to enter public places during the pandemic. To ensure Democracy for US Citizens we need a voter ID.
I would support legislation that makes the US Energy Independent. We produce energy cleaner than any other country including fossil fuels, we need to stop relying on other countries for our energy needs. All other countries produce energy dirtier than we do and increase greenhouse gases.

My Top 3 Priorities
- Will address the illegal Immigration issue, with my "Anna Rose Immigration Reform Act," that will give undocumented immigrants, and especially "Dreamers," an opportunity to become Provisional Citizens, with a pathway to Citizenship within five years.
- Reduce the "Wealth Gap" with my "America Strong Act," that will cut taxes for hard-working Americans, giving more income to those struggling to feed their families, for no American should have to work two or three jobs to provide for their families.
- Crime is out of control, and invites violence and fear into our neighborhoods, and will introduce the "Police Accountability Act," that will hold Police Chiefs accountable for their Officers performance, for living in fear in America is unacceptable.

This is an issue of Mankind vs Nature. The climate is changing, and has been for millions of years, and certainly Mankind has contributed to the more rapid changes we have seen in our Nation and around the World. We now have programs and policies in place in California to conserve water, in order for the Residents living in California to have water for their use, as well as for farmers and growers to have enough water to grow their crops, for import and export. Residents throughout California and certainly in Southern California are living under mandates to cut back on water usage, in an effort to reduce water shortages. We need an assertive approach for the water shortage that continutes to plaque California, for the duration of our droughts have been increasing in the number of years that we in California have to endure them. My Plan to deal with the water crisis in California is to introduce my "Water Transportation Conservation Act," which will begin construction of the largest water project in decades, creating thousands of jobs, by building water pipelines, that will transport water from parts of the Country that receive millions of gallons of rain water, as well as tons of snow that can be melted, and both of these resources can easily be transported by pipelines, which can reduce flooding in areas were lakes and streams overflow. If we can move cured oil using pipelines, then it would make sense to move water in the same manner, to help reduce the water shortage in California. We have the technology, and the engineering capability to build a water transport system that can end the extreme water shortage in California, as well as will be able to build-up a reserve of water for future droughts in California.
The entire Immigration System needs to be overhauled, and I will introduce my reform Bill the "Anns Rose Immigration Reform Act (ARIRA)," which will put our Nation on a course to address the illegal immigration issue, establish 24-hour Boarder Processing Centers on our Southern Boarder, fully staffed with Immigration Judges and Lawyers, along with Boarder Control Agents, as well as supported bilingual staff. Furthermore, ARIRA will provide current undocumented Immigrants and especially "Dreamers," an opportunity to become Provisional Citizens, with a pathway to Citizenship within five years. All undocumented immigrants will remain outside of the United States, except unaccompanied minors will be processed and housed in the United States or processed and released to family members residing in the United States, until a determination is made regarding the minor's status. Single Mothers with Children will get priority for processing, whether seeking asylum or entry into the United States. Normal processing time for undocumented immigrants will be within seven (7) days, with some cases taking a maximum of twenty-five (25) days to complete.
Our Freedoms are under attack in many sectors of our Nation, by both major parties, for the erosion of Freedom feeds into divisiveness, and breathes life into all forms of Hatred and Racism. Our Democracy has always been on thin ice, and it is up to the People of our Nation, and the Leaders they elect to represent them, to come to together in order to preserve our Freedoms, by respecting our differences. No Policy or Legislation can compel Freedom or Democracy to prevail. Our Founding Fathers held Freedom in high esteem, and left a path for Democracy to follow in hopes that it would survive, by gifting us with their Declaration of Independence, as well as the Constitution of the United States. We cannot Legislate what is in the hearts and minds of the People of our Nation. However, in order to perserve our Union, we must set aside our differences, and honor our Flag for what it represents, as well as refrain from labeling our accomplishments, for "Together We Can Build New Bridges of Common Understanding."
I will introduce in Congress legislation the "Green America for Future Generations Act," which will start America on a journey to reduce Greenhouse Gas production. Like the great Industrial Revolution, we will embark on an Industrial Conversion Revolution to replace coal and fossil fuels, with alternate fuels, such as hydrogen, electric, solar, and natural gas, by the year 2050. Governments at all levels, as well as the Private Sector, which will receive a tax credit for their investment in the conversion to renewable energies.

Since we live in the West Coast we can build some de-salanation plants throughout our coast. Build smaller dams throughout the state to capture rain water and melting snow. I think sometimes we over complicate, when the solution is simple.
We need to reform ourr immigration laws. I would support a path to citizenship. I would support to simplify the path by reducing fees forms to complete and taking attorneys out of the process as much as possible. Currently our laws need to be enforced.
I am a coonstitunist. So the first thing is to enforce the constitution. The constitution was written in my opinion to control the government. The document has been used to control the people. We do not have to reinvent the wheel. The constution provides all the freedom we need. What we need to do is stop using the document to give special rights to certain groups.
I would support a bill that would expedite the buildeing of Carbon Capture Storage Facilitites. Carbon Storage Facilities should enable the US to safely capture and store hundreds of metric tons of carbon dioxide each year that otherwise would be released into the atmosphere. It is one of the few proven technologies with the potential to reduce significantly and lower emissions from certain hard to decarbonize sectors, such as manufacturing and heavy industrial industries. This would be a start. We must build an infrasstructure to support othe r plans.
