was a trained heavy equipment operator in the Seabees. I received an Honorable Discharge in 1994.

I have coached youth baseball at all levels. My wife and I are avid baseball fans. In my spare

time I work in my wood shop building rustic tables, themed patio coolers, and other small projects.

I have worked the past 25 years as a private investigator for the County of San Luis Obispo,

investigated complex civil and criminal matters.

My strengths are interpersonal skills, negotiations, information technology, all aspects of civil

and criminal investigations. I have a strong work ethic based on a blue-collar upbringing. I am a person

of faith. I approach challenges as opportunities to bring people together to succeed.

My Goals if elected:

  • Put an end to the death rate within our County Jail.

  • Implement advanced psychiatric training for Correctional Deputies.
  • Construct and staff a dedicated psychiatric care facility within the County Jail.
  • Hire a professionally trained “Warden” to oversee and manage the County Jail.
  • Implement a Citizen’s Oversight Committee for the County Jail.
  • Build a Sheriff’s Substation in Nipomo area.
  • Develop plans to separate the Coroner’s Office from the Sheriff’s Department to
