Community Activities

Board Member, Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (2017–current)

As a mother, wife and resident, Porsche understands the priorities of our neighborhoods and community. It is important to Porsche that our city gives everyone the opportunity to an enjoyable quality of life.

While attending the University of Louisville, Porsche developed several community initiatives to aid in re-developing and revitalizing downtown Louisville. One of these projects, Liberty Green, provided $200 million towards creating housing in a mixed income community.

Porsche’s passion for education drove her to develop a scholarship program for underserved high school students interested in pursuing engineering. Porsche’s passion for business and job creation lead her to develop business programs and workforce development models which increased the total number of local awarded contracts by 50% in the initial phases of the Ohio River Bridges Project. This effort substantially increased local employment numbers keeping opportunity within the community.

Porsche met her husband Ben while attending engineering school; shortly thereafter they opened an engineering consulting firm focusing on aerospace engineering and project management. Opportunity lead Porsche and Ben to settle in California and they are proud to call Citrus Heights home. Understanding the challenges that working families face, Porsche decided to redirect her efforts to raising her two boys, Emanuel and Tiberius and becoming more involved in the Citrus Heights community.

Porsche is now a Planning Commissioner for the City of Citrus Heights, founding member and former Vice President of the Greater Arden Chamber of Commerce, member of the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce, board member of the Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps, Former Board Member of the Citrus Heights Rotary International, a Mather Veterans Hospital volunteer, veterans advocate and community volunteer.

Porsche is a candidate for the Citrus Heights City Council 2018.

If elected, Porsche will use her business acumen, planning commission, and community service experience to build a brighter future for Citrus Heights, ensuring that residents have a city that puts their interests above all else.
