I am a father and educator. Unlike some of my students and peers, I was fortunate to have grown up with a father who instilled in me the importance of legacy. Although he was incarcerated for part of my childhood, he reminded me daily that it was my responsibility to do better than him. My father didn’t graduate high school let alone go to college. Yet he stood by and pushed me until I graduated from law school. Whatever the makeup of your family, I am committed to listening to your needs and ensuring your voice is heard. I will help you to navigate the district system to get your child’s educational needs met. You need a Board member who is as committed to the needs of your family as you are. I can be that person.
